Malcolm Thorne, club manager and brother of Willie, has worked tirelessly over the years to give the nation's young players the opportunities they need to succeed at the highest level. Players the competitions at Willie Thorne's have helped in the past include Ronnie O'Sullivan, Matthew Stevens as well as new players such as 16-year-olds Mark Selby and Tom Ford, and Luke Fisher.
