Welcome to Breaks Snooker Club, Wimbledon (Southfields) Town of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships. Breaks Snooker Club is not just your ordinary snooker club. It has character, the building is listed, and it dates back almost to the turn of the century. Most of its characteristics have been kept in place. The building is an almost perfect example of very early cinema architecture - the time of the silent screen stars - Douglas Fairbanks, Mary Pickford, Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton: It is a little jewel of cinema history and the interior is remarkable. You have to see it to believe it! Breaks Snooker Club is situated in Southfields, opposite the tube station and within 1 mile of the Centre Court! Many of the tennis players visit the club to enjoy a 'Break' at Breaks Snooker Club during the tournament venue.
