17) Where can I find the
current world rankings?
i) Official Rankings
Official Rankings are published at the end of every season (after the
World Championships) and are used to determine at which stage players
enter competitions. The Top 16 is generally considered to be snooker's
"elite".

ii) Provisional Rankings
Provisional Rankings are published after each ranking tournament, and
are designed to reflect the positions of players as they would be in
the official rankings, were it the end of the season. They reflect how
a player has moved rankings since the beginning of the season.
