I want to enter competitions, but I can't find any.

Well, you've come to the right place. This site is connected with fifty-six clubs - all of which host pool and snooker competitions! In addition, there are almost certain to be competitions advertised in your club and clubs in your area.

There are snooker handicap competitions where you are assigned a handicap which ranges from about -42 to 98, the lower being the better. These are the most common competitions, especially in areas which are short of talent, or full with amateur-playing members. Open competitions can be found at clubs as well, where you are not assigned a handicap, but play a 'normal' game of snooker - where both players start from zero - regardless of conceived ability. These are usually intended for the more talented players.

National competitions are organised by the EASB. There are Under 13, Under 15, Under 17 and Under 21 Junior competitions, in addition to the Club Challenge, English Amateur Championship and more (View Amateur fixture list | Learn about the EASB). These are around £5 to £15 to enter.
