Competitions Qudos Bootle has got a reputation of producing excellent snooker players; most famously Rod Lawler who is ranked 34 in the W.P.B.S.A ranking. Lawler was beaten in the final of the International Open in Bournemouth in 1997 by world No.1 John Higgins.
